After stabilization, every board is progressively sanded to an exceptionally smooth finish that feels as good as it looks.
To enhance and protect the wood, each board receives a generous application of food-safe mineral oil that deeply penetrates the grain. It is then hand-finished with our custom blend of food-safe mineral oil, natural beeswax, and food-safe tung oil, creating a rich, warm luster and a velvety smooth feel while helping protect the wood for years of use.
Elegant solid brass handles provide both beauty and functionality, making the board easy to carry from the kitchen to the table. Matching solid brass feet with protective rubber rings elevate the board slightly while helping prevent scratches or marks on countertops, tables, and other serving surfaces.
